An Electric Wire Hoist is a lifting device that uses an electric motor to life and lower heavy loads. It consists of a motor, wire rope, and a drum or pulley system. The wire rope is attached to a hook or other lifting attachment, and when the motor is activated, it rotates the drum or pulley to raise or lower the load.
Wire rope hoist, which is also called European-design hoist, refers to the electric hoist that met the FEM standard. It features electromagnetic cone brake and NEMA 3R push-button control pendant. The lightweight, compact hoists lift loads to any height with unlimited length of wire rope that does not accumulate in hoists. Each features cast-aluminum housing and thermal overload protection.
